The 2024 NORRA 500 has once again upped the ante with the return of the JACKPOT to the Pro Turbo & Pro 2000 classes. The Jackpot is an opportunity for racers to bet on themselves. In addition to purses totaling $40,000, Pro Turbo & Pro 2000 participants may also enter the jackpot feature. What makes this special is that only those who enter the feature are eligible to win it. The highest finisher in each class among the jackpot participants at the end of the NORRA 500 will be crowned the jackpot champion, walking away with the entire jackpot prize pool for their class. The cost to enter the jackpot feature is $500 and can be made in person at registration.

NORRA 500 Prize Money Doubles to 20K for Pro Turbo UTV and 2000 Classes

The 2024 NORRA 500 now boasts the highest prize pool in off-road racing for the year, with a staggering total of $40,000 up for grabs. This represents a doubling of the previous prize pool, heightening the stakes for competitors. The UTV Pro Turbo class and the Pro 2000 Class (>2000cc and Class 10 cars) will each see their champions walk away with a substantial $20,000 payout and the coveted title of “King of the Beach.” The 2024 NORRA 500 is set to take place from October 11th through the 13th.

Previous winners of the 10K prize were Wayne Matlock and Gilberto Rodriguez at the 2024 Mexican 1000 and Max Gordon and Thomas Purcell at the 2023 Norra 500. Thomas Purcell driving a Polaris Pro R battled down to the wire with Bruce Yee in his Jimco Class 10 for the Evolution 2000 class win and the $10,000 payout. After two full days of racing, Purcell came out on top by only 25 seconds. This round of the rivalry between class 10 and UTV’s went to the UTV, but the course layout at this year’s NORRA 500 has a perfect balance of fast, full throttle sections that favor the class 10 and challenging technical sections where UTV’s excel. BOOST MOBILE STADIUM SUPER TRUCKS RETURN EXCLUSIVELY TO VAILO ADELAIDE 500

Fan favorite race category the Boost Mobile Stadium Super Trucks will once again be flying on the streets of Adelaide as the series returns exclusively to the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500.

After an almost four-year absence in Australia, fans’ wishes have been answered as the adrenalin-charged trucks hit the track across all four days of the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500.

The Boost Mobile Stadium Super Trucks first appeared in Australia on the streets of Adelaide in 2015, with their popularity among Australian motorsport fans skyrocketing ever since.

This year, the Boost Mobile Stadium Super Trucks will travel all the way from the USA to the VAILO Adelaide 500 and bring a star-studded field with them, led by American racing megastar and SST founder Robby Gordon.

Gordon said:

“The VAILO Adelaide 500 is one of my favorite events and street circuits in the world and I’d like to thank all our supporters in Adelaide and Australia for their continued support to see us race down under again.

Gordon’s son Max will also join the grid in Adelaide, alongside Australian Matt Brabham (grandson of Formula 1 great, the late Sir Jack) and 2022 SST champion Gavin Harlien.

The Boost Mobile Stadium Super Trucks are widely loved among motorsport fans for its frenzied racing and spectacular high-flying theatrics. The trucks reach speeds of up to 240km/h as they approach jump zones placed at key locations around the circuit, launching them a huge five metres into the air and 40 metres down the track.
