Championship Points
- When the results of a SST event are declared official, SST Championship points will be awarded down to a maximum of 15 places for the overall results of the main event. Points will also be awarded for the quickest lap in qualifying, qualifying showdown winner, heat races and for the driver who leads the most laps in the main event. No points are awarded in the LCQ.
- The SST championship will be decided based on the total of series points accumulated from each event. Numberplate points can be carried for driver substitution, limit one race per season.
- In the event of a tie for the championship, the winner will be determined based on the number of main event wins.
- Should a tie still remain, finishes of second, third, etc, will be tallied until the tie is broken.
- If a tie still remains, the best finish in the last race will determine the champion.
