AMERICAN NASCAR LEGEND GREG BIFFLE TO RACE AT THE GOLD COAST 600
There’s more exciting news regarding the Boost Mobile Super Trucks returning to the streets of Gold Coast 600 in October, with American NASCAR Champion Greg Biffle confirming he will race on the streets of Surfers Paradise in a SST.
Biffle’s results in NASCAR span a long decorated career claim 56 wins and over 350 top 10 finishes across NASCAR with Cup, Xfinity and the Truck series.
Biffle’s last win was in June this year at Texas Motor Speedway in the Kyle Busch Motorsports No. 51 NASCAR Truck.
“Robby has created one of, if not the most, entertaining and exciting Motorsport Categories in the world and since first racing in the series in August at Road America I’ve just loved every minute driving them,” Biffle said.
“When Robby confirmed that the SST’s were heading back to Australia to race alongside a series like the Virgin Australia Supercars on the streets of Surfers Paradise I just had to be involved.”
Robby Gordon also said, “It’s awesome to have a driver of Greg Biffle’s calibre wanting to race in the SST Series, it’s a true testament to how far the category has grown.
“I’m stoked to name the Driver of the Continental Truck this early as I know he will love the street party style racing on the streets of Gold Coast in October.”
Nathan Cayzer, SST Australian Manager, can also confirm some of the other Drivers that Biffle will be racing alongside the NASCAR legend at Gold Coast.
Dakar Rally Champion Toby Price was announced last week as the Boost Mobile Driver and will race against current SST America Champion Matt Brabham in the Carlisle Head Strong SST, Bill Hynes will race for UFD Think Live, Gavin Harlien for VP Fuels & Lubricants, Cole Potts for Security State Bank as well as Robby Gordon.
